The reviews led me to believe this would be an affordable way to experiment with soft pigments. First I used a purple pencil and had to press hard to get the desired effect. I sent the pens back. I didn't rate the cleanliness as the truth would have been 5 stars and would have upped the rating. The right question should be about the proportion of pigments. I understand you get what you pay for and while the kit isn't a waste, it shouldn't be called soft-core pigments.
