Review on Klean Strip Quart Liquid Sander Deglosser by Michael Liguori

We bought this hoping not to sand down the stained finish before painting it white. We followed the directions and while it didn't have a pungent odor and didn't remove the finish like you would expect from this type of product, it did seem to take the shine off the finish. However, I would say that the finish we chose, which we hand sand paper, was much easier to paint and resulted in a much nicer and more durable finish than the finish where we just used this product we used even experienced paint peeling. where it didn't quite stick to the painted panel.
