Good value for money - but don't expect it to be as good as some of the small subwoofers that come standard with soundbars. It definitely adds bass, but is a bit dirtier and not as powerful as its size might make it seem. It has good controls and a crossover/EQ to try to sort out the high frequencies, but once you get rid of the high frequencies the low frequencies just don't get through the subwoofer. Again, this is fine for a small system that you just want to hit a little but don't expect too great-sounding bass. I would say its worth is equal to its worth. I was just hoping for something better, like subwoofers these days.
