Holmes stopped making filters for my air purifier and HEPA filters which got me stuck and that was it. I found a HEPA filter seller that I'm very happy with, but the charcoal filters I've ordered from other sellers were clear or flimsy and didn't fit properly. I can't tell you how happy I was with them. I read the reviews before purchasing and they were positive. Activated carbon filters are thicker, denser, fit perfectly and have no extraneous odors or odors. In my opinion the Holmes activated carbon filters with baking soda were just as good as these. I will continue to buy them from now on. One possible tip is that I use my vacuum's brush and run it over the filter to brush off any dust and dirt that has built up to prolong the life and seems to work well.
