I usually use washcloths but plan to only use them when they are worn out. The rags end up smelling, but they don't have that musty smell. I also like that I can compost them when they're gone and they're machine washable. I used them for washing dishes and cleaning. I posted a photo of a brand new unused fabric and a prewashed fabric that is now wet and dirty. The reason is to show that it's shrinking a bit. I wish I had one straight out of the wash to show how much it shrinks after drying, but no need to worry. When it gets wet again, it looks like a napkin on the bottom. I was disappointed when it happened but then I reset it and everything was fine.
