Review on Spectra Premium CU2171 Radiator Kit for Ford - Complete Upgrade Solution by Mandela Buycks

Great upgrade from my original 1999 7.3 PSD heatsink. My original radiator did not have an oil cooler at the bottom. My trance temps were MUCH hotter than they should have been (I also had the original tiny 7.3mm radiator). Upgraded to this cooler as well as a Dorman 918-216 transmission cooler and my transmission temp dropped from 260 degrees to 163 degrees (towing an 11,000 lb trailer). Installing this radiator was very easy and I would highly recommend it. Check the size of your original Tranny Cooler lines. I had 3/8" and the threaded connections on this cooler are 1/2". I had to find 3/8 - 1/2 hose fittings. It took me forever to find the right ones, but they're only about $5 each at my local auto parts store (when I finally found the store that had them).
