I bought these silk scrunchies from Zimasilk on a whim as I've been using my other black silk scrunchies from my other brand for a long time and wanted something fresh. I liked the colors of this pack (white, taupe, light blue, peacock, light pink) and saw that it was a good price. When I received them I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. No loose threads, no crooked sewing, everything looks like it was sewn correctly. I wouldn't be surprised if they sold for $10 each. All the colors are beautiful and I ordered the headband in light blue and taupe. Personally, I don't see myself in white, but it would make a nice gift for someone else. I love the quality of the silk that Zimasilk uses for the hair accessories. This is a heavier charme than many other brands, but it is not woven very tightly. The fabric is almost soft, spongy, which I really like. Tight satin fabrics can give the impression of a stiff '90s prom dress, while looser weaves create that soft, draped look that makes silk so appealing. The rubber band used also offers a good balance between stiffness and elasticity. I have very thick hair (more than 1 inch diameter in a ponytail) and I can wrap it around the pony about 3 times. Hair does not bother without burdening the scalp. I don't find them too hard or brittle but they are just right for comfort. I love the Zimasilk quality and I love the colors. Definitely one of my favorite silk elastics!
