Review on High-Performance CURT 21728 Rubber Trailer Hitch Cover Incorporating 4-Way Flat Wiring Holder, Ideal for 2-Inch Receiver by Charles Russell

The product looks very nice. Larger than expected as it not only has a flange but also a ridge covering the perimeter of the receiver port. I have two problems. 1) The slip on the part holding it to the receiver (extending around the hole) doesn't fit my Curt 13130 receiver. It sticks to the safety chainrings on the receiver. I tried installing it with the 4 pin harness holder down. That extra rubber got me in trouble. I could spin it but I didn't like the way it looked. 2) In the same orientation, "hinge" on top, the extra rubber on top (hinge) was very tight on my RDX. In fact, he lifted the rear fairing once he was in place. I really wanted it to look neat. The texture is very close to the finish of the car and has no logo. In the end I cut and assembled the hinge. Looks great, just wish I had to cut it (or if I could buy a plain rubber stopper without the extra mount).
