Review on 💻 QNA-UC5G1T: USB 3.0 Type-C to 5GbE Adapter by Jon Johnson

This one "works" (note the quotes) and uses my laptop's USB 3 port intermittently. Completely hit or miss. The drivers are terrible, apparently the update doesn't add reliability. Firmware update brings nothing. Windows 10 hit or miss. Will it work? It will not work? Who knows.Linux? Same deal. In Ubuntu, the driver is built into kernel version 20.10. It worked fine, but now it doesn't work at all. Who knows what's wrong. It never worked properly. It works WORSE with USB, it seemed to work fine with USB C 3.1, but then it stopped completely. Works - heats up. Which is sure to contribute to the problems. Absolute rubbish and GARBAGE.
