I looked at a lot of replacement bulbs this time because I didn't want to pay $240 again so I chose this one because I only found one that came with the best warranty became JVC; which I hope is a good sign. As for how it works, I received my lamp with the case in 4-5 days as promised and if it was packaged very well then it arrived safely and I removed the old one and installed the new one within 15 minutes. And the TV started working again. The picture is nice, clear and much brighter than it has been lately. Not sure if it's just me but it's crisp and all the colors are crisp but it seems like it's a bit darker than I remembered but I might as well just be me and them The fact that it all looked like this on my other 42" plasma is extremely sharp and bright compared to the JVC projection. But there could also be dust on some of the lenses in the projection device so I'll take a look and see if it helps. But for anyone interested in getting a replacement lamp with body at a much better price, I would recommend this one without a problem as for 1/4 the price and the guarantee it's better than 4x the price, ie I can't help but try.
