I looked at a lot of replacement bulbs this time because I didn't want to pay $240 again so I chose this one because I only found one that came with the best warranty became JVC; which I hope is a good sign. As for how it works, I received my lamp with the case in 4-5 days as promised and if it was packaged very well then it arrived safely and I removed the old one and installed the new one within 15 minutes. I bought this lamp with the TV cabinet it was designed for, JVC HD ILA 52-786. When attempting to replace the entire lamp and housing assembly as supplied, the alignment pins inside the TV would not slide into the alignment tabs on the replacement housing. The mounting screws tighten, but the housing will not attach. After several tries, the bottom pin snapped into place.
