I bought this fan for a hike. I liked the idea that I could hang it in the middle of my tent and get both the light and the breeze. I didn't end up camping but when I set up my tent for the practice run the fan worked great! During a training run, my dogs were fascinated by the fan. It was quite warm outside and they enjoyed walking around under the fan and blowing it on. This gave me a great idea and I now use a fan in the back of the car to circulate the air and their dog cages. It's way more powerful than other fans I've had, it's super easy to hang up, and I can charge it while I'm cruising down the street! It might not be what it's designed for, but it's certainly great to have on hand. I even thought maybe my little chicken coop could benefit from one of these in the aviary area.
