Stripes and flickering appeared on the screen after 3 months of use. There was no physical contact with the monitor except for adjusting the position on the table, after which the enclosed handling instructions were properly followed. I've never had this type of damage on a monitor I've owned for personal use or used for work and I'm pretty sure the crack was the result of poor construction and/or high quality materials. I was very disappointed when I was told that this type of screen crack is out of warranty. I have requested further verification of the claim, but the ticket has been closed and I have not received any replies.
