This might come in handy in a basement but definitely won't make a big dent in the house. The chord is long enough if you have a clear path, but I wish it was a foot longer because if you have to go around something or if the plug is in the wall you'll run out of chords. It's quiet most of the time, but often makes a dripping noise like it's a leaky faucet. Should have probably bought more. I will definitely next time. Since it's so small, I'll probably have to buy another one. Even with the air conditioning working, the big one in the basement and all, you have to struggle to keep the humidity in the house above 57% all summer long.
