I have used this product many times with no problems. I have recently received the product back and after opening all 3 containers none of them had the white protective cap as described on the back of the product. I do not recommend this product because if it falls, the product will leak.

This is faulty. They don't have a white security seal under the foil, and the powdered charcoal is everywhere, including the container underneath, which should be empty and collecting moisture. Really unsafe considering it contains Calcium Chloride! The ones I bought from the dollar store looked better than these, very disappointing!

They all arrived with a 'security seal' which was supposed to protect all the pellets in the block. NONE of them had a protective screen. The granules leaked into the outer packaging. One unit was also crushed, so there were pellets in the box as well. These blocks were useless without a security seal and the replacement Revain sent me was defective as well.

I have used the same product many times in the past. They each had a white "sleeve" under a removable foil cover. None of the three items here had anything under the foil lid - the top of the container was left wide open, allowing the contents to squirt out if tipped or knocked over. These are obviously defective.

Do not buy. I received all three containers and removed the foil lid. All three containers are missing the white protective cap. So if the container is knocked over, the granules will scatter everywhere. I read the label on the box and the instructions specifically mention a safety cap. Container without protective seal defective. I will not buy this product again.

I'm giving 2 stars because I don't think this product is new. According to the instructions, there should be a white liner under the foil liner. Neither container had a white liner. The only reason the white liner should be removed is to refill the container for multiple uses. It's frustrating to buy something expecting it to be brand new and receive a used product. I hope whatever it is it actually works.

These 3 packs came in a box direct from DampRid in a Revain box. All three containers were missing the white protective cover under the foil, rendering them unusable. (If you're new to DampRid, peel off the foil when you're ready to use and the protective layer will keep the pellets and moisture in the hopper, even if it tips over.) One of the hoppers had an internal plastic pellet holder. Bit by bit. You will be returned. I will buy them locally instead of trying again.

Please do not buy if you have pets or children. This is a line malfunction. There is no clear coating underneath the film, making it a potential health hazard. The dollar tree has much better versions that have protective plastic. Two of the three opened and both defective. I had to use tape to close the top. This is not worth the price compared to the dollar tree. Please don't buy until they control the quality.

I order these Damp Rid containers quite often. I live in a waterfront condo and without them my closets would be so musty. However, I am really annoyed by the product and Revain. The three packs of Damp Rid always came without the white filter layer on top, so there were exposed beads everywhere. If the container tips over, the beads will be scattered everywhere. When a water container tips over (after a while water collects at the bottom) you have sticky water all over it. I didn't have this…
