I bought this for my old car so I could plug it in and use Spotify while driving. The problem is that it doesn't fit in my phone case. No matter what I did, when my case was on it would half plugged in and sound like crap and then fall out completely when you move it (simple riding over bumps for example). I didn't think of that when I bought it. Basically, I wanted this because I wanted a clean look (i.e. not dangling over other console features) when using it with a car phone holder. Can't comment on the sound quality as I've never removed the case on any attempt to use it while driving.
