This knife feels good in the hand; It has a good weight and balance and is a good knife for the price. It's a nice knife with a triple riveted blade and full shaft, but I have to use a lot more force when cutting and dicing than with my Wüsthof all-purpose knives. In addition, with this Cuisinart knife it is more difficult to make even cuts with a knife, which is easily possible with a Wüsthof blade. Still, it's a good knife and a great value for those who don't want to overpay for the Wüsthof. I bought this knife to compare to Wüsthof knives and also because I like Cuisinart cookware and food processors which I have used for many years. Tbh, that's not the kind of knife I reach for every day; I mainly use it for peeling vegetables while watching TV, not for everyday cooking. I would recommend this knife to a beginner or casual cook. Great price and good product.
