Unknown Annoying Beeping Noise

Device omits a constant audible beeping noise, similar to how a smoke detector is low on battery.The instructional guide makes no mention of the noise, however, I suspect the noise is related to the device going into battery power mode.

Pros

Using it to keep fresh water tank from freezing. It is very quiet, intermittent option saves battery.

Cons

May not be reliable during emergencies
