We've become friends with this palm tree over the past few days. I received him just as the weather was getting rainy and hadn't stopped enough to find him a happy place to live on my patio. Now he is resting on the dining table. I admired it every time I walked through the dining room, and here's why: It's so luscious. It's not a word. Well, that's all I can think of. I have a larger artificial palm tree and it is slimmer with thinner leaves. This guy has thick branches and is designed to look fuller and frankly feel "healthier" than my larger palm, which costs twice as much. It has a shorter palm but still has an eye-catching look. Very nice coloring of the leaves and a realistic trunk. I appreciate artificial trees and plants that are filled with cement, not styrofoam. I can put them outside when they are in cement. My only problem is finding a suitable potty for him to rest in. It has character, so I need to find a suitable pot that also includes something whimsical. I give this "curvy" guy a five. Stars. It exceeded my expectations for fullness, color and personality. I know this may seem strange to some, but to others it's totally understandable that an artificial tree can have a personality!
