First of all I have to say that this is not a typical phone case for a 10 year old. I told him when he was looking for a case for his new phone that we needed to make sure it looked sturdy. My son is so picky about everything and when I was trying to find a case I was so concerned that I might not be able to find a hood that would protect his screen from breaking. This case really met my expectations and some more. He dropped it several times onto the wooden floor from a height of about 3 feet. I would buy again and recommend. He also liked that when he got the tooth fairy's money, he could put it in his phone case. Almost as if he felt like an older big boy. It's also a theory that he wasn't ready to spend his money. This is another big plus in this case.
