I wasn't sure if it would work but it turned out perfect for my needs. I don't use it in the car. I have a cart for my sterile dry needles that uses a metal organizer. This mini trash can slides perfectly over the organizer's metal sides and is in the right place to collect used cotton balls, needle guide tubes, foreign plastic and paper. I pop out immediately after each patient to ease emptying so unsightly debris doesn't build up. I'm glad I took the risk and bought it.
