The fact that you have to pay that much for a renewal is a deal breaker. Competitor devices are half the price of Autel on subscription. Also, the pattern I've noticed with Autel is that they stop releasing units, meaning even if you wanted to pay $1400 for a subscription, you can't - and end up buying another unit for $2500.
