Good idea, bad execution.
The key body is not strong at all. The force of turning the key in the ignition caused the covers to fall apart on both units I bought. The small screw that attaches the key shank to the body is not strong enough to support itself. Do yourself a favor and get the guy with the uncut key glued in. You still have to move the electronics and transponder, but they are much more durable. Too bad I wanted it to work.
