I have bought several cases for my X even before I received it and this is the one I have had the longest. Firstly, the X is a great looking phone and the case's translucency underscores that. I like it. Second, the case is sticky enough to hold the phone with one hand and ensure it doesn't slip off. This also includes the dreaded problem of slipping out of your hands when you take it out of your pocket. It slips easily out of even the tightest of pockets and stays in your hand. Third, the corners of the back of the case are subtly raised so that when you place it face up on a table, they form little feet to lift the case off the surface. This offers additional protection for the camera and also prevents the case from being scratched if it is stored permanently. What a GREAT detail. Beautiful spigen! The side of the screen had enough protrusion to prevent the screen from touching the table when playing face down. But the protrusion isn't too high to detract from the phone's form factor. I was lucky not to drop the phone so can't speak to the claimed protection. The company says (and stamps on the case) that it was designed in Irving, California and made in South Korea. An interesting choice and a better US ally than China.
