Review on Hangang Pet GPS Tracker: 2nd Generation Anti-Lost Dog Collar with Global GPS/GSM, Waterproof & Long Standby - Track with APP by Tony Francis

I have a second tracker of this type, my dog drowned the first one in the lake. The characteristics of the device do not promise protection against submersion, so the dog is to blame :-). I opened a new one and covered the circuit board with silicone sealant and dielectric grease to see if it's any better. I use a $5/month SpeedTalk SIM. The device immediately responded to the SMS command, but for some reason it did not appear in the browser or Android application. I played around with it for a bit and then left it alone and the problem went away on its own after a few hours. I took off one star because of the difficult assembly and lack of waterproofing, but added it back because the seller was very helpful.
