Review on Tello CP PT 00000252 01 Quadcopter Drone by Cindy Foster

Not bad for the price

I bought a DJI Mavic and didn't travel with it for fear of it getting damaged ($$$). I decided to try Tello as it got pretty good reviews and seemed drinkable and cheap enough that I could travel the world without much fear if it got damaged or confiscated. When I tried to fly the drone I had some problems after downloading the Tello app until I found out that you not only need to connect to the Tellos wifi signal but also your phone (iPhone in my case) have to put it in airplane mode. This solved the problems I had when I lost control of the drone. And the more I flew the Tello, the more I liked it. Yes it has its downsides, it flies fairly stable as long as the wind is calm. Also, it seems really solid as I've crashed it a few times without damage as its light weight and solid construction seems to hold up well. , but it's a cheap little drone, and the photos are of decent quality. When I ordered the drone, I also received an extra battery and an external USB cable to charge the batteries. This worked well as it seems to take about 20 minutes to charge the battery for a roughly 5 minute flight, which I'm happy with. As for getting a Bluetooth controller, I think I'll pass this along as the iPhone app works well and I want my drone to be as small and compact as possible (for world travel). cost, I fly more and get practice that makes me more confident flying the DJI Mavic.
