This is a real gem! It can replace a neckerchief or become another layer under a coat. Inside is soft fur and outside is a comfortable knit. I walk my dog every day on cold and windy days and this neck brace keeps drafts from blowing down the collar of my coat and cooling me. I can pull it over my nose if I want, but it's so warm I can't keep it closed for long most of the time. I don't think it's meant to breathe. But it's very cozy and well constructed to keep you warm. I bought the light gray and it looks great with any coat. I highly recommend this product.
