Normal for series furniture, standard rails well matched. The back of the drawer is only held on by 2 screws on each side. I look for dovetail drawers in good furniture, but I seriously doubt I'll ever find them in furniture like this. The bases are open so I put a sheet of 3/8" plywood on top of the 3 bases for stability and to create a better base on our very thick carpet. Without it it won't slip and will likely break if I don't. do. Also crush the carpet and pillow due to the weight. The assembled set came out pretty strong as I screwed it together between each piece. Easy enough to assemble, good fit. All 9 parts and assembly took 6 hours. Assemble and attach to the wall.
