Review on ๐Ÿชฅ Advanced Plaque Removal: Colgate 360 Optic White Platinum Electric Toothbrush with 4 Replacement Heads by Tricia Evans

Great everyday and travel toothbrush although it works but died in less than 3 months.

Edited 6/7/21: Unfortunately this toothbrush died after less than 3 months of use (1-2 times a day). It clicks in and out, but there is no motor activity. Also, I've found it burns out on batteries (2 alkaline AAA) - 6 weeks for the first set and 4ยฝ until it dies during the second set. (The voltmeter reading on the second set was 1.4 volts when it died compared to 1.62 when it was fresh.) I cannot recommend this toothbrush. act. (It also has Bluetooth if you want to be in control of your brushing.) Original Review: I have another Optic White toothbrush that is about 18 months old. It works well, but I wanted to get a second one for travel. Although the name is the same, it's a different toothbrush - much thicker and with a different brush head. This became my new "home" toothbrush and the older, thinner is now my travel toothbrush. These toothbrushes replace my old SonicCare toothbrushes, including my $200 diamond brush. Why? SonicCare toothbrushes are great, but the batteries aren't replaceable. $200 for about 20 months of use isn't worth it, especially when Colgate brushes seem to do the job just as well. (Two SonicCare toothbrushes died in less than 2 years.) As for the (minor) downsides to this new toothbrush: the alkaline batteries that came with it were almost dead (according to my voltmeter); the handle is very thick, wider than a broom handle and can be problematic for small hands; Toothpaste tends to pool where the brush head makes contact with the base (although this seems to be the case with all electric toothbrushes with detachable heads); and the toothbrush tends to stall if you press it too hard against your teeth. (That last point might actually be a feature, since squeezing too hard is bad for your enamel.) Overall, for the price, and especially for travel, I'd recommend buying this (if you still can't find a thinner one). ) .
