I needed a small sewing kit for the most basic of repairs - basically just needles, thread, scissors and a container to keep everything. So I bought this basket and I wish I had it. This kit is garbage. A singer should be ashamed to put her name on such a product. The drawer is made of clear, disposable plastic, similar to regular clamshell packaging. The thimble is made of molded plastic and has a ridged surface. The scissors feel light and cheap, and they were covered in production scraps that made a grating noise when opened and closed. The basket itself is also cheaply made: It actually consists only of fabric-covered cardboard with a chipboard base. lined with thin, matt satin material. Absolutely not a quality product. I would not buy again and would not recommend to anyone. Again, Singer should be ashamed of putting his name on this product. I've seen travel sewing kits that are better quality and half the price.
