We have a heavy duty hose that we've had for about 10-years and we needed to replace one of the ends and this set worked PERFECTLY! I watched a quick youtube vid on how to install and in less than 10 minutes it was installed and there were no leaks or issues of any kind! Buy with confidence!

Infinitely better than the plastic repair kit sold at my local hardware store. These may not completely seal older or thinner hoses as the screws will bottom out first. Use pipe dope (tape) on the piece that goes into the hose to bulk it up to avoid this. Way cheaper than buying a new hose.

Without removing the rib from the inside of the hose, this spayed water all over the place. However once I clipped the rib as flush as I could from inside the hose, this reattached easily and does not leak at all. It took me less than two minutes to attach this fitting and it works great. It took about 45 minutes of what I thought was hard work clipping the rib out of about 2 inches or less from the inside of the hose. Glad I bought these.

These are great, and much easier to install than the plastic type. One hose was a bit hard, but warm it up a bit with a hair dryer, and these install easily and work great.

I have a expensive hose that the ends wore out and these brought it back to better than original. Super easy to install and they are quality hands down they worked great for me and the price was right.

extremely sturdy and totally easy to use. The only problem is that overall threaded really is way too shallow. I can't use them on a garden hose splitter I bought from Home Depost as I was intended for.

I even knew better but still made the mistake of attaching this to my brass hose bib and forgot to remove. Less than 6 month later it is seized to my hose bib. I saved money on a new hose but now have to call a plumber if I ever want to remove it.

This looks like a sturdy hose connector. Unfortunately, I have a thinner hose and couldn't get this tight enough to clamp down all the way. I could still twist the inner part within the hose itself after tightening all the way.

Seems' to be well made but could have been better engineered. Functional, yes but hard to install fittings to hose end because of design. Shipped quickly, well packed, priced fairly would use again if nothing better could be found.

I purchased these to use on two hoses that my yard guy sliced from carelessness. Easy to install, seem solid, strong and so far after only a little over one month and several uses, no problems. They work well ! I’ll update this review if anything changes but as of now, I would definitely recommend !. I hope this review helps.

I've been struggling most of my life - and I'm an old man, so that's a long time! - to find a way to find a way to repair the ends of hoses rather than replace them. It's at the ends where my hoses seem to get damaged. My husband ran over our hose with the lawn mower and thought we’d have to buy a new hose. The cut was toward the end, so I suggested we repair it instead. I love my husband, but he is not a handy man. At all. But he managed to repair our hose with this and it has been working fine for a few weeks now.

This is an easy repair to make. It was nice to replace the end of a leaking hose rather than throw it away and buy a new one. The ends are a little bulky and the brass seems a little thin but so far so good.

A good hose end leaves you space for your hand to wrap around the six-sided female threaded thing. But these bulky zinc clamps butt right up to the female-threaded-thing, so unless you carry a wrench around, it's tough to spin the ends with your hands.

Instead putting you old garden hose in trash, try to extend the use from it with these wanderful repair kits. They are very easy to use and are effective. It is my second order in the last couple years.

I bought these after cutting my finger on the hose clamp that comes with the cheaper version of hose connectors.Never again.These have not leaked and don't hurt when I run my hand across them.You should probably get this kind if you plan on actually handling the hose.

This is a fantastic repair kit and the fittings are better than expected. However, the clamp down collar is large and doesn’t fit through the hole of my hose reel which is a bummer.

The hose I was using was heavy duty 3/4 hose. Had to use an impact driver to get them tight enough to stop leaks, but seems to have worked. Good value and better than the cheap clamp ones (which should only be used for light duty)

Good quality. Tried several different types, with leaks around the fitting, blowing off under pressure, hose clamps that would not tighten enough without breaking. This product was easy to install, provides a firm seal. Our water pressure is 50psi and hose is 3/4 inch, this product stands up well without a leak, where all the other types failed.
