Review on CASOMAN 80 Piece Portable Socket Organizer by Sean Burnett

Revainrating 2 out of 5

cheap quality in tool trays

I have other similar trays from other manufacturers and they are great. I kind of assumed most were made by the same company and just sold under different brands, but apparently not because that power strip is junk. The first thing I noticed when I received it was that 2 of the 3 splints were loose; Rivets are only partially mounted. And good luck trying to move the pins to set it up because the pins are hollow at the bottom so you end up sliding them partially over the tongue to remove them and they get stuck on the tongue. You can't get through the tab without breaking the little plastic tab, so there's no pen holder now. Last but not least, and worst, the pins don't match the size of the moldings so they don't even hold the bases in place, or they are too big and you have to press really hard to put the base on or hold the whole shell . firmly and unplug the socket. For the same price as other trays I have but much better quality, this tray is rubbish. It might be fine for home use with outlets you rarely use, but if you work in a shop you'll throw wrenches.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • The list will be long.
