Broke on the first day, super disappointed!

I got this for my son for Christmas and he was so excited about it, but it's literally the day after Christmas and he's barely lasted 24 hours and his body is already cracked! He also flies very well on it, but a light tap is enough for it to crack. Our $20 drone helicopter has endured 2 years with many accidents and it hardly took a day to become a great pilot. I think I should have listened to the negative reviews but I hoped that was an exaggeration. I'm not sure if the company will do anything, but it might be worth a try.
