Good idea but knives get stuck under dividers

I really like that this compartment can be expanded to accommodate different drawers etc, but it does have a downside: thinner items (like knives) slip under some Partitions and get stuck there. This makes them quite difficult to get out and I find it annoying. I've rearranged my cutlery several times to put knives in the compartment where they get stuck the least. It's not the end of the world, but if you're easily annoyed by design flaws, it can bother you every day. .
