Review on Premium PETG Filament for 3D Printing: Ultimate Additive Manufacturing Products & Supplies by Ken Reiff

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well packaged and prints much better than I expected from PETG

This filament prints very similar to most of my PLAs. I'm using a WINSIN Bowden two-stage extruder and am printing at 215°C, although I've lowered the temperature slightly and gotten similar results. The printed part is a shroud for my Ender 3 hotend, unfortunately it hit about 90% and I lost performance, but that's enough to say the results are very similar to my PLA. I ordered Geeetech PETG a long time ago. and could never print the way I wanted. It's dripping on the nozzle, I think it may have been exposed to moisture before it arrived. I thought maybe PETG would be like that for me without tweaking too much, but I'm glad I gave it another try. With higher heat resistance and almost as easy to print as PLA (as opposed to ABS), I'll use this material for anything I can print and leave in the machine (large board game figures, handy printouts, etc.).

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • . There are other interesting options.
