Bad for embroidery

They may be good for display but not good for hand embroidery. Some of the rings have shards. The rivets protrude so that the inner and outer rings cannot touch at the top of the tire. Any fabric in the upper is completely loose. It's pretty tight at the bottom of the hoop, so I'm going to move the fabric around so the working part stays at the bottom of the hoop until I get a better fabric. I really needed to read the reviews and not just think the bamboo hoops would fit based on the 4.5 star rating.
