Had to raise the handlebars on my Cannondale Evo due to the bike's aggressive geometry and my constant back problems. That makes the ride a little more comfortable. There were some issues installing the extension on the carbon fork. Even if the two fastening screws are completely unscrewed, the extension cable cannot simply be pushed onto the plug. I had to use a rubber mallet to install the extension onto the connector. Also, before purchasing this extension, I didn't know much about the different types of compression connectors. My Cannondale came with an FSA compression plug which is not compatible with the long bolt that came with the extension. I had to buy another compression plug which is hollow in the center screw. This allows a long bolt to be attached to a banjo bolt mated to a new compression plug.
