As a sleeper I thought I had to deal with overheating. After an unlucky few weeks, I did a little research and settled on a good pair of bamboo or eucalyptus leaves. They were said to be cooler and more environmentally friendly than traditional cotton sheets. I chose Sijo leaves after reading good reviews and reading their mission and values on their website. The sheets are very soft and comfortable and I have found that I don't wake up from too much heat as often as my traditional cotton. Leaves. I've been in heaven for several months. Fast forward from the original November 2020 purchase to the present and I have a decent sized hole due to the thin sheet metal. I followed the care instructions to the last detail: a gentle cycle with only free and transparent detergent and a gentle heat to dry. This happened weekly. The location of the hole and worn area is where my feet rest at night. As a side sleeper I can put extra stress on this area but still not enough to wear it that thin. While I liked these sheets, for the price I would expect them to last over 10 months. I went back to use Target's guest pair while waiting for a new set from another company. If these sheets are to be used sparingly, I recommend them anyway. But if you're looking for a quality blade for everyday use, I'd look elsewhere.
