I used my home computer (large desktop with a good 32" monitor) to work from home, but recently I had to start using a company laptop to access certain applications. Then I was reassigned to a new project, which forced me to use a second client-provided laptop. Working with tiny laptop screens, even for a short time, became a problem and I didn't have room on my desk to mount two more monitors. Hence the need for KVM. I bought a 4 port model and am very happy with it. Setup was easy, it comes with all the cables you need. The unit itself is pretty solid (metal body) and ready to go. One green light on the front means the device connected to that port is powered on, and a yellow light means the port is currently selected as an output. I am using a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Plugged a wireless USB dongle into the keyboard port and it worked flawlessly on all three machines. I haven't noticed any issues with mouse or keyboard lag. Overall a great product that does exactly what I expected it to do. :)
