Check the wall where you plan to install the towel rail before attempting to install the bracket. I hung the top two brackets and then the bottom two brackets and when I started hanging the light the bottom edge was a quarter inch. It's a beautiful piece of hardware. We made some adjustments to attach the bracket to the wall. It would be great if Grohe included an assembly template. They provide a DGF file with the exact dimensions, but don't transfer them to the wall. You should be within 1/16 or 1/32 depending on the pattern, but that's very difficult with a tape measure. Next to the solder wall I made a template. It was a fun exercise if you have the time!
