Once you do this, it will work very well. You have to work on the track, which isn't very fun. I had to buy the one that stays on the walkway and you close the shade on the part that stays on the canopy. After a few uses, the rubber spiral that you need to feed wears out. If a storm is brewing and you need to bring your awning with you, it will take some time to get it off your canopy. Works well when put on, just difficult to put on and take off.
