They make good sized dice (as expected) but as many other reviewers have pointed out they require a TON of hand strength to pop the dice. I wonder if this has to do with the thickness of the silicone and the temperature of the freezer, or with the freezer's freeze and thaw modes. I have fewer issues with the two trays I kept in our 2020 LG side by side freezer at home than the trays I brought to the office which are in the top freezer in the smaller fridge that gets cold too seems to be, but has fluctuating temperatures. However, we have other silicone bowls with smaller cubes that have thicker walls and aren't difficult to push out. This requires a very strong grip and a lot of pressure on the thumbs to try to release them. It's frankly painful, and if you're not careful you can bruise the skin on your fingertips as you firmly grip the face of the ice while trying to push other cubes out with your thumbs. Good times. I don't know if more expensive trays are thicker, less prone to warping, and have fewer problems. I don't think I would buy again.
