I put off cleaning the grout and slate tiles in our outdoor shower; I even considered using my washing machine but was afraid of damaging it because it's so durable. This drill brush was the perfect compromise between manual cleaning and maybe blowing off the joints completely: the yellow brush did its job without damaging anything. However, the power of your drill would be an important consideration; An underpowered tool may not generate enough RPM for the brush to be truly effective. I used the brush with a Ryobi 18V cordless drill and it worked great.
