I have been a fan of Exo Terra or Zoo Med for many, many years. In early 2020 I purchased a Zilla 'nosed' terrarium at a local reptile show and was very pleased pleased with the quality and the fact that most of the usual gaps/holes seen with the other two brands were NOT an issue with Zilla. I recently got a day gecko out of this tank to bring in grieving geckos and the minimal amount of "gecko protection" I had to do was so impressive. When I bought my pair of Agricolae I knew I only wanted Zilla. for the same reason. The only gaps to worry about were the side of the front door that has a hinge, but I cut a piece of aquarium tubing and smeared it with silicone and it's fine. I also used some tape on the opposite top corner just to be on the safe side as I ran out of silicone so I couldn't get the bead on the inside to protect another very small gap. Once they're a bit grown up we don't have any more problems and can remove these safeguards. Mourning geckos in a large aquarium will stay forever. The tank itself is sturdy, well made and attractive. The extra features it comes with are nice, but not essential for every look. I like to keep extra supplies on hand, so by all means ignore them. I was a little nervous using a halogen bulb in such a small package, especially given the temperature it projects when in use. I ended up buying a Nano LED light which makes me feel a lot safer. My only complaint is that I wish the door was a little longer. The vent area can be at least a few inches lower while still being able to place the right amount of substrate and having a better/full view of the interior of the habitat.
