This stool was very easy to assemble. All you have to do is attach the wheels to the seat and secure with an Allen key. I received this item to help me move around the house while recovering from a foot injury. I would only recommend this item for short distances as it can scratch hard wood floors. They are not badly scratched but there is a difference in my floors. I gave him 4 stars because he did his job and helped me around the house when I couldn't support the weight on my leg. It's not super practical, but that's not why I bought it. I couldn't imagine having to sit or walk in it for more than an hour. It's strong enough to support 200 lbs, maybe even up to 275 lbs. Although I've never used the up/down function, I'm pretty sure it doesn't work properly. It's strange that I've never tried this feature, but I can say that it either doesn't work well or not at all.
