I currently have a Netvue 720p HD IP Camera (purchased in 2017) and a newer Netvue 1080p Indoor Security Camera (purchased in 2019). I haven't had any issues with either of them other than having to turn them off and on once during a blue moon. When I saw this 1080p panoramic zoom pet camera, I decided to give it a try. The package includes a camera, 6ft power cord, 5V 1A power adapter, drilling template, mounting bracket and quick start guide. Set up was simple and straightforward. Install the app on your phone, create an account and click to add a device and follow the instructions. Note. This camera only works on 2.4GHz and will not work if your router only broadcasts on 5GHz. I find the iPhone app works well with no major issues. It works well on both Wi-Fi networks and cellular networks. Netvue is currently working on a desktop/computer app but is currently unavailable so you can only view your cameras from your phone. I wouldn't say the camera is small, although I find it aesthetically pleasing and not irritating to the eye when placed where it's easy to see. It's well built. After adding to the netvue app, all cameras connected to the app will be displayed on the home screen. You have the ability to tilt/pan/zoom while viewing the video stream from the camera. In my experience, panning and tilting work perfectly, but it should be noted that downward tilting is not possible when looking straight ahead. This limits the installation height of the camera when placed on a shelf. You can also wall mount it with the included hardware, enhancing your viewing experience. It can be tilted 100 degrees and rotated 360 degrees and is almost silent when rotating. I mounted it on the wall in the children's playroom and it allows a full view of the playroom. The zoom function is a digital zoom that distorts the image when zooming, the camera lens itself does not zoom. Picture quality is clear, sound and voice function are good. Night vision is good in its own right, but can be quite impressive if you bring a little light into the room. It may take some trial and error to get the light in the right place where it won't interfere with the automatic day/night function. Netvue offers 24/7 cloud recording for $6.99/month or $69.99/year. You can also insert an SD card, which is what I did. It records normally and I haven't noticed many incorrect entries. To be honest, given the price of this camera, I would say that you will hardly find a better PTZ camera. I have never had a negative experience with any of my Netvue cameras and am completely satisfied with my purchases. Would buy from them again. Another note, since this is a PTZ, if you use a power supply that supplies less than 5V 1A, it will most likely turn on and work until you switch to pan or tilt. At this time, the camera may turn off due to - requires more input power.
