This is a good shaker. I often make a simple rub with kosher salt, ground black pepper, cayenne, and garlic powder, and I wanted to have a shaker so I could spread it evenly over the meat and save myself rubbing again. This is a good solution for that. Has three different fill options; really thick, kind of thick and narrow. Narrow doesn't work for my purposes because kosher salt doesn't come out. Thicker options work very well for my purposes (I'm bad at seasoning almost all of the time, so this works). The only downside is that when you close it and shake it, some of the spices fall out of the walls, so you have to mix the spices before you put them in the shaker. The shaker itself is about the size of a store-bought spice jar, so it fits perfectly on your spice rack or among your other spices and condiments.
