I expected more and paid $50 for a walking foot. I received this on June 28th and it worked great. I knit about 2-3 hours every day, but I don't always use this foot. It broke 5 days after the return window closed. He started making a loud noise and clinging to the needle. Based on other reviews I put a few drops of machine oil in it to no avail. Since I couldn't return it, my husband offered to take it apart to see if it could be repaired. There was a little lever in there and after several attempts to figure out where the part went I put it back together. I worked pretty well for about an hour and then broke again. I am very disappointed in the performance of this item. It came with Brother packaging and Brother was printed on the side of the walking leg. Everything I've ever had from Brother has been great. I think I'll try one of the cheap ones and see if it's better.
