Broke after 5 weeks

I expected more after paying $50 for a walking leg. I received this on June 28th and it worked great. I knit about 2-3 hours every day, but I don't always use this foot. It broke 5 days after the return window closed. He started making a loud noise and clinging to the needle. Based on other reviews I put a few drops of machine oil in it to no avail. Since I couldn't return it, my husband offered to take it apart to see if it could be repaired. There was a little lever in there and after several

Worth the price

As a beginner to sewing, I was afraid to buy one of the "fake" walking legs that are sold at a lower price because I couldn't tell if I could do the job right or if I screwed up! I also chose a brand name because I'm more confident that it's a good product and that I'll get good customer service if something goes wrong. still like it. It took me about three times to remove and install before I got used to the process, but now I can replace it with my regular foot in less than two minutes. The…

I have an "almost antique" Brother sewing machine, purchased in 1972. As a beginner quilter, I was advised to purchase a walking foot to help quilt thicker garments.
