Filter OK, gasket not OK

The filter seems fine but the gasket is just cheap flat hard rubber with no ribs or anything else that comes in the filter box. Doesn't seem very reliable and I'd get a better seal if I were you. Also, the image on the Revain is different than the pad I received. Mine was about 3/4" wide all around with holes cut. The one in the picture has wider patches at the holes but narrows between the holes which concentrates more pressure on a smaller area which I think increases the seal.
